Privacy & Cookie Policy
This policy explains how PRO.SHOE.LAB ("we"), a footwear manufacturer based in Izmir, Türkiye, collects and uses personal data on www.proshoelab.com, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698).
1. What we collect
- Enquiry form: name, company, email address, product type, estimated quantity and your message — used only to respond to your enquiry.
- Analytics (only with your consent): if you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects pseudonymous usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type). If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
We do not sell personal data, run advertising trackers of our own, or collect payment information on this site.
2. Where your data is stored
- Form submissions are stored by Netlify (our hosting provider) and delivered to our mailbox.
- Email is hosted by Zoho Mail on servers located in the European Union.
- Analytics data is processed and stored by Google (Google Analytics 4).
- Your cookie choice is stored only in your own browser (localStorage) — not on our servers.
These providers act as data processors and maintain their own GDPR-compliant safeguards. Your correspondence with us stays within the EU. Analytics and hosting data may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate transfer safeguards operated by those providers.
3. Legal bases
- Responding to enquiries: our legitimate interest and steps prior to entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), (f)).
- Analytics cookies: your consent, given via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it by clearing this site's data in your browser — the banner will ask again.
4. Cookies
We use one category of optional cookies: analytics (Google Analytics 4), set only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Essential functionality of the site works without any cookies. Your accept/decline choice is remembered in your browser's localStorage.
5. Retention
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and our business relationship, and deleted on request. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (14 months).
6. Your rights
Under GDPR and KVKK you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Türkiye: KVKK; in the EU: your national data protection authority).
